** After reviews heralding Atlantic/Word Records’ band NEEDTOBREATHE’s latest, The Heat, and three weeks and counting for their No. 1 Christian CHR hit single, “Signature of Divine (Yaweh)’, MTV shows “The Hills” and “Newport Harbor” have picked up two of the band’s songs for use in their shows.
** “The Hills” will use “We Could Run Away” from The Heat in their October 29th episode, while “Newport Harbor” used their 2006 debut project’s hit song “Shine On” recently.
** In addition, Fox TV is currently using “Nothing Left to Lose” from “The Heat” for their Monday night promos for shows Prison Break and K-ville.
** NEEDTOBREATHE is no stranger to having their songs used in TV and film. Last fall, Fox Sports used "Don't Wait For Daylight" in their television coverage of the World Series, and “Shine On” was used in the Dane Cook film “Employee of the Month.”
** NEEDTOBREATHE is on the road this fall doing their own headline shows as well just completing several opening dates for Jars of Clay throughout California. See full tour date listing below, or go to www.myspace.com/needtobreathe for more information.
